Le colline di Bertinoro a circa 250mt di altezza sul mare, dolci e strette vallate ripide. Carducci amava affacciarsi verso Cesena e deliziarsi con il pregiato vino di queste parti. Il terreno è fertile, coltivazioni di carciofi, asparagi spontanei, erba medica, prato polifita, olive, mandorli, frutteti, una fitta rete di stradine dove è bello passeggiare anche in bicicletta.
The hills of Bertinoro at about 250m above the sea, gentle and narrow steep valleys. Carducci loved looking out towards Cesena and delighting himself with the fine wine of these parts. Da nord e nord-est arrivano i venti che potrebbero creare seri problemi alla produzione, ma come è noto possono regalare anche uve sane, con buona spalla acida e profumi intensi per i vini. Podere Baratta, 9ha di vigneti ripidi, per circa 18.000bt.
Area suitable for Albana, Cagnina, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, rigid and breezy climate. Winds arrive from the north and north-east which could create serious production problems, but as is well known they can also give healthy grapes, with good acidity and intense aromas for the wines. Una piccola cantina che produce in vigna delle buone uve, con una tecnica agronomica rivolta a rese ridotte, anche le pratiche in cantina, esperte, producono delle etichette molto valide, con il ricorso mai invadente del legno.
